The company is has its foundation on a degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on materials science, combined with career experience gained in manufacturing environments, where engineering fundamentals, production processes, and material behaviour were developed through hands-on work.

After starting in manufacturing roles, experience was progressively expanded into technical and project focused responsibilities, followed by progression into technical sales management. This involved managing propulsion and mechanical systems from the engineering proposal stage through to detailed design, project delivery and installation, while liaising directly with customers, shipyards, and other project stakeholders.
